Houston County Virtual Academy (HCVA) is a learning option for Houston County residents in grades 9-12 who would like to earn a high school diploma but do not wish to participate in the full, in-person high school experience.

-Coursework meets TN state standards and can fulfill the requirements for a TN high school diploma

-Online support is available from 7:30 am-7:30 pm Monday-Friday

-Coursework is self-paced and available 24/7

-Weekly progress is monitored to ensure attendance/participation and academic requirements are met

-No enrollment cost to families

-Technology devices available for check-out

-Available only to Houston County residents in grades 9-12

HCVA is not the right choice for everyone, as work completion/times are self-paced and students enrolled in HCVA will not be allowed to participate in sports/extracurricular activities or HCHS graduation activities.
